Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all returns and refund requests for purchases made through Like Cabinets, a brand operated by Oceania Cabinetry Inc., located at 1285 101st Street, Lemont, IL, USA. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the conditions outlined herein.

1. Return Eligibility & Authorization

All returns must be pre-authorized by Like Cabinets. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.

To request return authorization, please email the following:

  • Order number
  • Purchaser name
  • Shipping address
  • Reason for return
  • Clear photos of unopened packaging (if applicable)

Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of the original shipment date.

2. Acceptable Return Conditions

You may return products under the following conditions:

1. RTA (Ready-to-Assemble) cabinets in original, unopened packaging, unused, and in resalable condition

2. Authorized returns only, with 25% restocking fee applied

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping arrangements and costs Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee applies to all eligible returns.
  • Shipping Deductions: The actual shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Assembled or partially assembled cabinets
  • Installed or modified products
  • Trim components including moldings, toe kicks, fillers, skins, and panels
  • Removed from original packaging
  • Final Sale items as marked on product pages
  • Products returned in damaged or used condition
  • Custom-made or special-order items
  • Orders returned without prior authorization

Assembly or installation of any product constitutes acceptance of that product in its delivered condition.

4. Packaging & Return Shipping

All return shipments must adhere to the following packaging standards:

  • Products must be securely packed in original cartons with adequate internal protection
  • All components, manuals, and hardware must be included
  • Shipping label must be clearly marked with the RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) provided by our support team

Customer is fully responsible for arranging and paying for return transportation. We recommend using a carrier that provides tracking and insurance.

5. Refund Processing

Once the returned items are received and inspected:

  • Approved returns will be refunded for the product value, minus restocking and original shipping charges (if applicable)
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days
  • Returns arriving damaged or incomplete will not be credited

6. Damage or Incorrect Shipment

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please follow these steps:

1. Do not install or assemble the product

2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the packaging, product, and shipping label

3. A replacement or resolution will be arranged once the claim is verified

Failure to report within the designated time window may void your eligibility for replacement or refund.

7. Final Notes

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing all product specifications, dimensions, colors, and finishes prior to placing the order
  • Natural wood and stain variations may occur; such differences do not qualify as defects
  • Like Cabinets and Oceania Cabinetry Inc. reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet policy criteria
